With flowers, gemstones and champagne this painting is a celebration! “June: Pearl and Roses” is one in a twelve piece series that features an iconic birthday staple. Each months birth stone and flower is set against a champagne background representing some of my favorite birthday gifts of flowers, jewelry and a special toast! The roses were created using matte acrylic paint, matte and metallic acrylic paints make up the pearl, both are detailed in alcohol ink, and the background is a custom mix of metallic gold and silver paints. This combination of mediums give the painting depth and interesting light reflective qualities that make “June: Pearl and Roses” the perfect addition to any space. The sides of the canvas are finished in the same paint as the background making this painting ready to display on arrival with or without a frame.
